Veteran South Florida drag entertainer was on to promote Palace’s reopening

Tiffany Fantasia, drag entertainer and hostess of drag brunches at Palace Bar and Señor Frogs on Miami Beach, was recently invited by Andy Cohen to join him on BRAVO’s “Watch What Happens Live” as his guest bartender.
Fantasia was on the show Sunday night, Dec. 17, to promote the new Palace, which reopened at 1052 Ocean Drive, a block and a half way from its old location on 1200 Ocean Drive, which closed on July 4 after 29 years on the corner of 12th and Ocean. Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member Kim Zolciak was the show’s main guest.

Fantasia isn’t the only Palace alum to have appeared on WWHL with Cohen, who has visited Palace and is a huge fan of the venue and its performers. Noel Leon appeared in June ahead of the bar’s closing, doing her signature split on national television for all to see. Latrice Royale, a “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 4 finalist and Palace’s most famous alum, has also appeared countless times on WWHL.
Sunday night after the show aired, Fantasia received several congratulatory notes on her social media.
Andrew John of New York wrote on Fantasia’s Facebook page: “So proud of you! You looked amazing, as you always do!!!! 😘😘😘😘”
Johann A. Ali of Doral wrote “GURL – you ROCKED WWHL on Bravo tonight!! YAAAASSS!”
Cindi George wrote on Instagram: “YAAAAASSSSSS!!!! SO PROUD OF MY BESTIE @tiffanyfantasia !!! You are EVERYTHING and THEN some!”
Within the hour of the show’s airing, Fantasia shared some thoughts of her own on Facebook.
“Thank you for having me Andy Cohen!! It was a blast!” she wrote on Facebook Sunday night. On Monday, Fantasia followed that with another round of shoutouts.
“Almost forgot to thank a few people!! Thank you to the Palace, Thom Donall and Len Evans for getting me on the show. Also thank you to Chad Matthews, for letting me get ready at his place. I really appreciate it!!!”
